Tyler came out on a cool day in January and we had a fantastic photo shoot. Tyler is a musical man and knows how to play all the percussion instruments. That takes a lot of skill and rhythm! Besides rhythm, Tyler can flash a smile that will brighten your day and make you forgot about your troubles. He could also give me a serious look and hold it for a staggering 5 seconds before the smile exploded back on his face.

He’s planning on college and may be going to Western Kentucky. That’s going to be an exciting time for him but I think there’s going to be a couple of good friends who are going to be missing each other just a little bit.
We had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Amanda recently and it was truly a fun afternoon. With beautiful dark hair, picture perfect skin and a smile that lights up a room, (or in this case a shade tree) she made the session a photographer’s dream. No matter what we ask her to do she was right there flashing a big smile and twisting and turning whichever way we ask. It went something like this, “Go down those steps and look back up here, put your right leg up two steps twist your body back toward the wall and your head toward the camera, bend your right arm a little and put the left arm behind you, tilt your head back and over just a touch, chin up but look natural, back straight but relaxed, smile, don’t smile, just a little smile, smile with your eyes only…” All this with no complaints plus she completely hid the fact that she thought I was a just little crazy.
Jared comes from a musical family and he is following that dream also. He just started his first year teaching band and music to Kindergarden – 8th grade students in East Tennessee. He is pretty excited about teaching and being in East Tennessee because it puts him close to the mountains! He loves to hike and fish and would live outside if it was just socially acceptable.
If he wants to diversify his talents we think he would make a great model for any of the national tuba magazines or for Backpacker and Tennesee Camping magazine. He’s got the smile and a very outgoing personality that will take him a long way whether teaching kids music, hiking in the woods or doing a photo shoot for Tuba Outdoors.
Jared, thanks for making the photoshoot a fun time. You made our day!
Here’s a quick video slideshow of the best of our shoot along with some cool music.
Warren stood next to his big red truck, flashed a smile at the camera, and told us he doesn’t really like having his picture taken… but you couldn’t tell it from our side of the camera. He was a natural! He couldn’t have done better if he had been a professional truck-driving-model. This was definitely a fun photo shoot and we captured some fantastic images.
Warren is headed to Mississippi State this fall with a major in business. He doesn’t know his exact major yet but he does know he wants to go on and get his masters degree. It sounds like he has a great plan and some day we might all be working for Warren!
Thanks for a great photo session Warren!
Below is a quick video of his portrait session and a few pictures we really liked.
